Practical Details of Spiritual Direction

LOCATION

Sessions can be held from anywhere in the world thanks to video-conferencing platforms like Zoom.

FREQUENCY

Typically, spiritual direction is once a month, but varies due to a directee's needs or desires. If needed, especially at the beginning of the process, this can be increased.

SESSION LENGTH

Sixty minutes.


DURATION

Duration of care depends solely on a person’s needs and the Spirit’s work. It is not uncommon for spiritual direction to become an ongoing life rhythm.

AVAILABILITY BETWEEN SESSIONS

As a spiritual companion, I am available to directees between sessions via email (as time permits).  I also mindfully maintain healthy boundaries that benefit both of us.

FEES

No one should go without the kind of care spiritual direction offers due to financial constraints. I gratefully receive $50 a session from any directee who can afford it. This enables me to offer a sliding scale for those who cannot. Payments are expected upon the scheduling of the session.
